He has announced his intention to play 10 shows next year (2019) and Starvy Creek is one of the 10!!!  His former leader singer, Rickey Wasson will be at Starvy Creek on the same day and will play with J.D. We are located near Conway, Missouri.  From  I-44 at Conway, take highway Y  to Starvy Creek Road. Follow the signs to the park at the corner of Starvy Creek Road and Bluegrass Road.

If using GPS, be wary of "closest" route. You may end up taking your RV down bumpy dirt roads. If you use our directions, you will be on a paved road to the park.

When you approach the park, be prepared to make a 180 degree right turn into the campground

  - $12 per day for 50 Amp Hookup

  - $10 per day for 20-30 Amp Hookup

  - $5 per day for rough camping (no electric)

  -  $2 per day, dropped RV - Refrigerator can be on

       NO RESERVATIONS - First Come...First Serve

     You can bring your camper & drop it off around 2 weeks prior the start of the festival.  We will

       post when electric company is scheduled to

      turn on electric service.  Please call ahead if

      you plan to bring your RV and are unsure if

      electric will be on.

  Camping prices include camping spot, electricity, dump-station & restroom/shower facilities.  Water is available at every other pedestal so bring a splitter and plenty of hose. Limited water spots in shaded area.

 Sewage Pump Truck - on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday the week of the festival. Sign up and pay at park entrance.  Price - $15

We are the Day family and we have been hosting bluegrass festivals since 1986.  Our main focus is to provide bluegrass fans with a place to see top, national bluegrass groups and to make sure the park & facilities provide the very best atmosphere for bluegrass fans of all ages. You will find that we are strict with rules so that all folks (young & older) enjoy the benefit of a safe, family-friendly environment .









Cars & trucks parked in the camping area must belong to a camper.

Drive-in vehicles (non campers) must park in east lot. We have handicap parking in the park and in the parking lot.


Lawn Chairs

Place only ONE (1) lawn chair per person in the seating area.

Consistently unoccupied lawn chairs will be moved to make room for others.

No high-back chairs. Limit is 38 inches from the ground (we will actually measure them!)

Do not move a lawn chair that doesn't belong to you



No drugs or alcohol allowed on the festival property.

Violators will be forced to leave with no refund.


Cats, Dogs and other critters

Pets in camp ground must be on a leash.

Pets cannot be in seating or concession areas in the days prior or during the festival.


Things with Wheels

No bicycles , 4-wheelers, or golf-carts in the seating area.

Do not drive golf-carts or 4-wheelers on grass. Please keep vehicles on driveways!

We are trying to maintain grassy areas.



No Video Recording


Refunds, Reservations

No Refunds - The Show will happen, rain or shine! (we may postpone performances if there is lightning or torrential rain). The bands WILL perform if at all possible.

No reservations on camping spots


Saving Parking Spots

Do not leave chairs, etc. overnight in handicap parking areas in an

attempt to save your parking spot.

Breakfast is available Thursday, Friday and Saturday mornings. Yum!!


Coolers are allowed but may be checked by gate personnel.
